Sheriff Leroy Ravenell announced that a suspect wanted in connection with a 2025 drive-by shooting near Holly Hill has been arrested.
“This case took uncovering several layers of obstruction to get to those involved,” the sheriff said. “But those individuals attempting to mislead or obstruct our way were charged too.”
Ravenell said 24-year-old Travon Little has been charged with murder, attempted murder, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
The Holly Hill male was taken into custody on Wednesday after investigators developed information on his location.
Little had been wanted in the fatal shooting death of 28-year-old Jordan Walters of Holly Hill.
Orangeburg County Sheriff’s investigators were called to a Gabby Hall Court location in October 2025 after a reported shooting.
Witnesses said a white vehicle had fired on another vehicle after having driven past at a high rate of speed.
Walters would later die of his injuries while a passenger in the car was wounded.
During Wednesday’s search for Little, Travis Watson, 42, was charged with obstruction of justice after attempting to mislead investigators.
Previous arrests in the case came in November 2025 when Abion Brown, 23, of Holly Hill, was charged with murder; and Joella James, 25, of Dorchester, was charged accessory after the fact of murder, tampering with evidence, and obstructing justice.
Ravenell thanked the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) and the US Marshals Service for their assistance in this case.
