It is with profound sadness and tender hearts that we share the passing of Jaydon Jack Cottam of Sedbergh, who tragically passed away on April 8, 2026, at just 3 years old. Though his time on earth was heartbreakingly short, Jaydon’s life was filled with love, innocence, and a light that will never be forgotten.
Jaydon was the cherished and deeply loved son of Paul and Michelle, whose world revolved around their precious little boy. He brought immeasurable joy, laughter, and warmth into their lives, creating memories that will forever be held close to their hearts. To his grandparents—Peter and Denise, and Donald and Julie—Jaydon was an adored grandson, a source of pride and happiness whose presence meant everything.
Despite his young age, Jaydon touched the lives of so many. His bright spirit, gentle nature, and the simple joy he carried left a lasting impression on all who met him. He was a beautiful soul, full of love and curiosity, whose smile could light up any room.
The loss of Jaydon is unimaginable, and the pain felt by his family and loved ones is beyond words. Yet, in the midst of this deep sorrow, there is comfort in knowing how deeply he was loved and how much happiness he brought into the world during his time.
Family and friends will come together to honor and celebrate Jaydon’s life at a funeral service to be held at Beetham Hall Crematorium on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 2:00 PM. All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend and pay their respects. The family kindly requests family flowers only.
