Emmett Bramble Jr Shooting News: Family and Friends Mourn the loss of 41-Year-Old Fatally Shot Near Gas for Less Gas Station

Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Monday evening in the Sunny Isles area of St. Croix.

At approximately 7:05 p.m. on March 30, 2026, the 911 Emergency Call Center received alerts from the ShotSpotter Detection System indicating multiple rounds of gunfire. Additional calls from citizens reported shots fired and a man down near the Gas for Less Gas Station in Estate Diamond.

Responding units found a Black male lying on the western side of the gas station, bleeding from his body. Emergency Medical Technicians transported him to Juan F. Luis Hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced dead. He was positively identified by next of kin as 41-year-old Emmett Bramble Jr.
