According to the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at approximately 8:30 p.m. near West Riding Club Road and Hynds Boulevard. Investigators reported that Juan was traveling westbound on a motorcycle at a high rate of speed when he failed to stop at the intersection. The motorcycle continued through the intersection, striking the I-25 right-of-way fence before traveling across both northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 25. The motorcycle ultimately came to rest on the embankment on the west side of the interstate.
Juan sustained life-threatening injuries in the crash and was immediately transported by air to the Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado, where he fought for his life. Despite medical efforts, he tragically succumbed to his injuries several days later on April 15.
