Authorities in York County are investigating a murder-suicide that occurred Saturday afternoon at the Spring Hollow Apartments on East 3rd Avenue in Spring Grove Borough, according to the York County Regional Police Department.
Police were dispatched to the complex around 3:15 p.m. on January 31, 2026, following reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found two individuals outside the apartment building, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency responders pronounced both victims deceased at the scene. Officials classified both as Class 4 (deceased).
The incident prompted a significant police response, with numerous York County Regional Police vehicles converging on the scene. Investigators secured the area, and police tape was visible, blocking off a grassy section between apartment buildings. Witnesses reported seeing two bodies covered with red sheets near the apartment complex.
