BATON ROUGE, La. — Authorities are investigating an early morning shooting after multiple rounds were fired into a home on Daytona Avenue, according to police.
Officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire during the early hours. Video from the area shows multiple shooters opening fire toward a residence before fleeing. Investigators confirmed that numerous shell casings were recovered at the scene, indicating the volume of gunfire involved.
