Victim Identified in Deadly Kansas City Restaurant Shooting at 31st and Prospect

Man killed in Kansas City restaurant shooting identified
A 28-year-old man fatally shot in an exchange of gunfire inside a restaurant at 31st Street and Prospect Avenue Saturday night was identified by police Sunday as Decorrian Partee.
Officers responded just after 8 p.m. to reports of shots fired at the Kansas City intersection, where an interaction among multiple people escalated into gunfire that struck two men, according to a Kansas City Police Department spokesperson. Partee was pronounced dead at the scene. The second man was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
No arrests have been made, and police are searching for at least one suspect, with no description released. Investigators described the incident as stemming from a dispute that turned violent inside the eatery.
