Woman Killed in Late-Night Freeway Crash in Baldivis; Major Crash Investigators Seek Witnesses

🚨 TRAGEDY ON THE FREEWAY: A community in mourning after a fatal night.
Our hearts are incredibly heavy this morning following the news of a fatal crash in Baldivis late last night.
At approximately 11:20 PM on Monday, 2 February, a blue Ford Falcon sedan was travelling south on the Kwinana Freeway when it left the road and struck a tree.
THE DETAILS:
The 40-year-old male driver was taken to Royal Perth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Devastatingly, his passenger, a 44-year-old woman, sustained life-threatening injuries and passed away at the scene.
OUR GRATITUDE AND THOUGHTS:
Events like this ripple through our entire community. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to the first responders who attended the scene and the members of the public who stopped to help.
Most importantly, our thoughts and sincere condolences are with the family and loved ones involved during this unimaginably difficult time.
WITNESS APPEAL:
Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are currently examining the scene. They are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash or seen the blue Ford Falcon in the area prior to the accident to please report the information to Crime Stoppers.
