Late-Night Shooting on Long Beach Blvd: Police Investigate Incident Linked to Walls Motel

Authorities are actively investigating a late-night shooting that occurred on April 25, 2026, around 11:00 p.m. in the 4800 block of Long Beach Boulevard.
According to initial reports, officers with the Long Beach Police Department responded after a gunshot victim arrived at a local hospital seeking treatment. The individual sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body but was reported to be conscious and breathing at the time of contact with officers.
Preliminary information provided by the victim indicated that the shooting took place at the Walls Motel. In response, officers secured the location and identified evidence consistent with a shooting, including visible strike marks on parts of the building.
