Authorities say the bodies were discovered at a residence located in the 7900 block of Auble Moody Road.

During a news conference, Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch identified the victims as 46-year-old Lisa Ferguson, her 17-year-old daughter Keziah Luker, and 12-year-old Thomas Cordell. Burch also confirmed that Keziah Luker was pregnant at the time of her death.

Officials said all three victims lived at the residence where they were found. A family member reportedly discovered the scene and contacted authorities. Investigators believe the killings occurred sometime overnight.

Sheriff Burch said a young child, approximately 18 months old, was also inside the home at the time but was not harmed.

According to investigators, all three victims were found with their hands bound behind their backs using what appeared to be zip ties or flex cuffs. Burch described the scene as violent and disturbing.

He stated that Lisa Ferguson had been stabbed and had her throat cut, while Keziah Luker was shot, and 12-year-old Thomas Cordell also suffered a fatal throat injury.

Authorities also reported that the home appeared to have been ransacked, with Burch noting, “Someone was searching for something,” as investigators observed the residence in disarray.

At this time, investigators have not identified any suspects. Sheriff Burch said there is currently no indication that the case is related to a domestic or family dispute.

The investigation remains ongoing as detectives continue to process the scene and search for answers in what authorities have called a deeply tragic and violent crime.
