According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 5:13 p.m. on April 14, 2026. Investigators say a 2019 Honda HR-V, driven by a 39-year-old woman from Rockledge, was traveling northbound on Clearlake Road in the center left-turn lane when she made a left turn onto Fay Street directly into the path of a southbound motorcycle operated by Hanandi.

The front of the 2005 Buell XB9R motorcycle struck the right side of the SUV, causing a violent impact that sent the motorcycle southwest into a 2005 Toyota Camry that was stopped at the intersection. The motorcycle then collided with the front of the Camry, intensifying the severity of the crash.

Emergency responders transported Hanandi Pennyfeather to Cape Canaveral Hospital, where he was tragically pronounced deceased. Authorities confirmed that next of kin has been notified.

Other individuals involved in the crash, including the SUV driver, her passenger, the Camry driver, and a 2-year-old passenger, remained on scene and were not reported to have sustained injuries.

In Cocoa and across Brevard County, the news has brought a wave of grief. A young life full of energy, potential, and dreams has been cut short in an instant, leaving behind heartbreak that words can hardly express. At just 19 years old, Hanandi was at the beginning of his journey, with a future that now remains unfinished.

For his family and loved ones, the pain is unimaginable. The memories they hold now carry both comfort and deep sorrow as they reflect on the life he lived and the moments they shared.

As the Florida Highway Patrol Troop D continues its investigation, the community stands together in mourning and support.

May Hanandi Pennyfeather be remembered for his life, his spirit, and the lasting impact he leaves behind in Cocoa and beyond.
