It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we remember the life of Keino B. Bruce Jr., whose tragic passing has left an undeniable void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him. A proud member of the Delta Air Lines family, Keino’s journey was one marked by resilience, love, and an infectious spirit that could light up any room.
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, and with ties to Los Angeles, California, Keino carried with him a presence that transcended place. He was more than a colleague or friend—he was a brother to many. From his early days visiting Clark Atlanta University as a teenager to eventually earning his degree there, Keino’s determination and heart were evident. He set his sights on his goals and pursued them with passion, inspired by those around him and in turn becoming an inspiration himself.
Known as the “little brother” to so many, Keino had a rare and beautiful energy—one that was youthful, genuine, and full of love. He was the life of the moment, always present, always supportive, and always ready to show up for others. His kindness was effortless, his loyalty unwavering. He had a way of making people feel valued, often putting others before himself without hesitation.
But above all, Keino was a devoted father. His son, Cree Robert Bruce, was the center of his world. When Cree was born, Keino’s life took on a deeper purpose. Everything he did was rooted in love and commitment to his child. He worked tirelessly to provide, to grow, and to become the best version of himself—not just for him, but for his son. Those who witnessed his journey saw a man who embraced fatherhood with pride, responsibility, and unconditional love.
To his family, including his beloved aunt Conlyn Bruce, and to his many friends and brothers, this loss is immeasurable. The memories of his laughter, his constant phone calls, his encouragement, and his presence will forever echo in their hearts. He was the kind of person you expected to hear from—the one who checked in, who lifted you up, who reminded you of your worth.
Though his life was cut tragically short, the impact Keino made will never fade. He taught those around him the importance of love, connection, and living fully in each moment.
