Janet was known for her boundless compassion and warmth. Those who knew her often spoke of her remarkable ability to put others before herself, offering kindness, laughter, and comfort in every interaction. Her sense of humor could brighten even the darkest days, and her presence had a way of making any place feel like home.

A devoted educator for 37 years, Janet touched countless lives in her role as a teacher. Affectionately known as “Mrs. Miller,” she became a second mother to many of her students. Beyond the classroom, she was lovingly called “Momma J” and “Grandma Janet,” titles that reflected her nurturing spirit and deep love for children. Her hugs, often described as warm and reassuring, were a source of comfort to all who received them.

Janet’s greatest joy was her family. She cherished time spent with her husband, children, and especially her grandchildren. Whether riding horses, attending ball games, worshiping at Hope Church, or vacationing at Lake Kabetogama, she found happiness in togetherness. Her love extended beyond her own family, embracing friends and even “everyone else’s grandkids” with equal care.

She is survived by her husband, Mark; her children, Ethan Miller, Caylee Miller Knox, and Colby Miller; her cherished grandchildren; and her siblings. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gary Dixon.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on March 28, 2026, at Hope Church in Cosby. A celebration of her life is planned for May 9, 2026, in Helena—her birthday, a fitting tribute to a life so deeply loved.
