According to authorities, officers with the Tulsa Police Department responded around 3:35 p.m. to a reported shooting at a trailer park near the 2400 block of North Fulton Avenue. The call was made by a concerned friend who, after being unable to reach Alexis, went to check on him and discovered something was terribly wrong.

However, during the encounter, the suspect allegedly attempted to use counterfeit movie prop currency. When Alexis recognized the money as fake, an argument ensued that tragically escalated into violence.
