Woman Arrested After Beating Ex-Boyfriend With Bat During Argument

On March 15, 2026 at 5:55 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Jefferson Drive in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, after reports of a domestic disturbance.
When officers arrived, a 27-year-old man was waiting outside near a running vehicle.
The victim told investigators he had gone to the home to discuss a personal matter with 26-year-old Alaysha Wells when the encounter quickly escalated into an argument.
According to court documents, Wells allegedly shut the door during the argument, then returned moments later holding a baseball bat.
Investigators say Wells began swinging the bat at the man and struck him multiple times while he attempted to get away.
The victim reported that Wells continued chasing him across the street while swinging the bat.
Witnesses in the area told investigators they observed the same events described by the victim. One witness also provided cellphone video showing Wells allegedly following the man with the bat while he retreated.
During an interview with investigators, Wells reportedly admitted that she chased the man away and struck him with the bat. Authorities later located the baseball bat propped against the inside of the front door of the home.
Wells was taken into custody and charged with simple assault.
