HAMILTON – It is with deep sorrow that the family of Tommy Dwain Nix, 63, announces his passing on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at his residence in Hamilton. Known for his devotion to family and his community, Tommy will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. until the service begins at 2:00 p.m. at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, where family, friends, and community members can pay their final respects.
Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Teresa Nix, and his cherished children, Colby (Alex) Nix and Conner (Cassie) Nix. He took immense pride in his grandchildren, Blair, Baylor, Gage, and Porter Nix, who brought joy and laughter into his life. Also mourning his loss are his brother, Timmy (Billie Jean) Nix; niece, Kylee Nix; brothers-in-law, Elton (Margaret) Johnson and Dale Johnson; sister-in-law, Susie Carter; and aunts, Carolyn Baldridge and Becky Nix.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Dwain and Doris Nix; brothers-in-law, Randell Johnson and David Carter; and his father and mother-in-law, Bankston and Lois Johnson.
Tommy Dwain Nix will be remembered as a devoted family man, a loving husband and father, and a cherished member of the Hamilton community. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and dedication to those he loved will endure in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
