Ball Police Department have updated their earlier information with information on the suspect from this morning’s shooting.

SHAMOND LAMAR SANDERS is a 39 year old black male, 5’11” tall weighing 220 pounds.
Sanders may be travelling in a 2023 Nissan Altima, dark gray in color bearing LA License 990JGZ. (Please see below.)
Sanders should be considered armed and dangerous. If anyone has any information on the location of Sanders, they are asked to contact the Ball Police Department at 318-640-4747, RPSO at 318-473-6700 or Crime Stoppers at 318-443-7867.

This morning at approximately 11:30 AM, RPSO was requested by the Ball Police Department to assist in their investigation of a shooting at a local gas station on US 165.
Patrol Deputies, Crime Suppression Unit and Detectives along with Crime Scene Unit have responded to assist.
As of this time, no further information will be released as this is an active crime scene.a
