A man has died following a shooting early Sunday morning outside a bar in Lewisville.

A man has died following a shooting early Sunday morning outside a bar in Lewisville.
According to the Lewisville Police Department, officers responded shortly after 1 a.m. on March 1 to a reported shooting in the 1100 block of Texas Street. When officers arrived, they found an adult male in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Police immediately began life-saving measures before the victim was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. He later died from his injuries.
Officers quickly obtained a description of the suspect, identified as 40-year-old Ronald Lamont Ross. He was located nearby and taken into custody without incident.
Ross has been charged with:
• Murder
• Tampering with Evidence
The victim’s identity will be released by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office after next of kin have been notified.
