A 36-year-old man accused of involvement in a shooting in Kapolei on Friday, Feb. 27, has been formally charged, according to the Honolulu Police Department.

Authorities say officers responded to reports of gunfire in the area and discovered a victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical personnel treated the individual at the scene before transporting them to a nearby hospital. Officials have not publicly released the victim’s condition or identity.
