A 40-year-old woman from Morse was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning in Acadia Parish, according to Louisiana State Police.
Authorities identified the victim as Ashley Granger. Troopers said Granger was driving north on Louisiana Highway 1124 when, for reasons still under investigation, her truck crossed the centerline, traveled off the roadway, and overturned.
State police responded to the crash around 1:45 a.m. on Louisiana Highway 1124 near Louisiana Highway 90, just outside Estherwood.
Granger was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the cause of the incident.
