Shane was the beloved son of Keith Albert, a retired deputy chief of the West Hartford Fire Department who dedicated decades of service to protecting the community. In a deeply emotional message shared publicly, Shane’s family described the loss as the most devastating moment of their lives.
“My heart is broken,” the message read. “Yesterday was the worst day of our lives. We lost our son Shane Albert in a tragic accident. It just doesn’t seem real.”
