Homicide investigators with the Oklahoma City Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 18-year-old Kaleb Simpkins, who is wanted in connection with a fatal shooting earlier this year.
According to police, Simpkins is sought in relation to the January 18 shooting death of 18-year-old Emmitt Gresham. The incident occurred in the 600 block of North Stonewall Avenue. Officers responded to reports of gunfire and located the victim at the scene. Despite emergency response efforts, Gresham was pronounced deceased.
Investigators have since developed probable cause to charge Simpkins in connection with the homicide. Authorities have not publicly disclosed details regarding a possible motive but have indicated that the investigation remains active under case number 26-4418.
