According to investigators, witnesses reported seeing the young man walk alone into a wooded area of the park during the mid-afternoon hours of Feb. 14, 2026. Surveillance footage and additional witness accounts reviewed by detectives indicate he entered the area by himself. Officials say no evidence has been found suggesting anyone else was involved.

Detectives reported no signs of foul play at the scene. Based on the evidence collected thus far, authorities have stated the death is being investigated as a suicide.

In the days following the discovery, various social media posts and community comments have circulated describing the circumstances in greater detail.
