UPDATE 02/11/2026 02:30 AM: The truck has been located and recovered. Visible from looking through the windows, it appears the weapon used in the murder is in the vehicle. Sinecio-Alvarez has not been captured. Active leads are still being investigated and ongoing. Any information you may have on his whereabouts is still requested. Although the weapon can be seen in the vehicle, it is unknown if he possesses any other weapons so caution should still be used if you come in contact with him or see him in public.
On the morning of 2/10/2026, 73-year-old James Eastis, a bond recovery agent, was attempting to execute a bond revocation on Francisco Sinecio-Alvarez at 151 Harris Road, Hayden, AL. Eastis was shot by Sinecio-Alvarez and later found deceased inside the residence.
Sinecia-Alvarez fled the scene in a light blue/white Ford F-150 step side, with a solid white front passenger side fender and was last seen heading west just outside of Homewood on Spaulding-Ishkooda Road. The weapon used in the shooting was not found on scene and believed to still be in possession of Sinecio-Alvarez. Sinecio-Alvarez has not been located and an arrest warrant for the charge of murder has been issued and is outstanding. Although Sinecio-Alvarez fled the area and has not been seen in Blount County, he could return to his residence on Harris Road or other residences of acquaintances in the area if not captured. Be on the lookout for Sinecio_Alvarez if you live anywhere in that vicinity. We do not believe he is actively seeking further violence or violence to the public, but caution is to be taken if you see him.
