Body Believed to Be Missing Man Found in Shallow Grave; Girlfriend Held in Jackson Case

On February 15, 2026, officers with the Jackson Police Department initiated a search for 23-year-old Hayden Blair. As part of the investigation, detectives were led to a residence in the 90 block of Southside Drive in Jackson, Tennessee where evidence consistent with a shooting was discovered.
On February 17, investigators located a body in a shallow grave in the 1100 block of Howard Road in Chester County. The remains have been tentatively identified as Blair and were transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to confirm his identity and determine the official cause and manner of death.
According to authorities, members of the department’s Special Victims Unit interviewed Blair’s girlfriend, Tationa Williams, during the early stages of the investigation. Information obtained from that interview led detectives to the Southside Drive residence, where they discovered physical evidence indicating a possible shooting had occurred.
Further investigative developments ultimately directed law enforcement to the gravesite in Chester County, where Blair’s remains were recovered.
Williams is currently being held at the Jackson Madison County Criminal Justice Complex and is expected to be formally charged. Specific charges have not yet been publicly announced.
The investigation remains active and ongoing. Anyone with additional information is urged to contact the Jackson Police Department at 731-425-8400 or Crime Stoppers at 731-424-8477.
