Detectives from the Greater Dandenong Crime Investigation Unit are probing a serious stabbing that left a young man with life-threatening injuries in Noble Park on Tuesday night.

Police say a group of unknown male offenders attacked a 20-year-old man in a car park off Memorial Drive at approximately 10 p.m. The circumstances leading up to the assault have not yet been disclosed.
Emergency services responded to the scene, and the victim was transported to the hospital with critical injuries. His current condition has not been publicly updated.
According to investigators, the offenders fled the area on foot before police arrived. No arrests have been made at this stage.
The investigation remains ongoing as detectives work to determine the motive and identify those responsible.
