Henrico Police have taken 18-year-old Kasim Anton Drumgole of Richmond into custody in connection with a shooting that occurred on July 24, 2025, around 8:05 p.m. on the 7500 block of Edgewood Avenue. Officers initially responded to reports of gunfire and found two male victims — an adult and a teenager — who sustained non-life-threatening gunshot injuries.
Following an investigation, Drumgole was identified as a suspect. In January 2026, a grand jury returned indictments against him, including:
Two counts of malicious wounding
Two counts of use of a firearm in the commission of a felony
Shooting into an occupied dwelling
Authorities say Drumgole was formally taken into custody on February 13, 2026. Police and prosecutors are continuing their investigation and preparing the case for trial.
