UPDATE: Beaumont Man Identified as Homicide Victim; Murder Warrant Issued for 18-Year-Old Suspect

BEAUMONT, Texas — Police have identified the victim in a Friday night shooting at Woodrow Street and Highland Avenue as 31-year-old Rudolph Lassaint, a Beaumont resident.

According to the Beaumont Police Department, the shooting occurred late Friday night, and Lassaint was pronounced dead from his injuries. Following the investigation, authorities have issued a murder warrant for 18-year-old Charles Siggers, who remains at large.

Detectives are actively searching for Siggers and urge the public not to approach him if spotted. Police believe community tips could be critical in locating the suspect and advancing the case.
