BPD’s Crime Reduction Team Arrests Two in Ensley Homicide Investigation Within 48 Hours
The Birmingham Police Department’s Crime Reduction Team has arrested two 16- year-old males of Birmingham, Alabama for Murder in connection to the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Carlton Duncan.
The incident occurred in the 1400 Block of 29th Street Ensley on February 3, 2026.
One of the males are being charged with Capital Murder and Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Firearm.
The other male is charged with Felony Murder and Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess a Firearm.
Both suspects were taken into custody on February 5, 2026.
They will be held in the Jefferson County Jail with NO BOND.
