One person died Monday afternoon when a white SUV rolled over near Highway 317 and Airport Road, Temple police said.
Officers were called to the scene around 3:24 p.m. for reports of an accident.
Police found the SUV had rolled over after leaving the roadway. The vehicle was traveling northbound on Highway 317, left the roadway near Airport Road and went into a ditch where it flipped, police said.
One person was declared dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
The Temple Police Department Traffic Unit is investigating the crash.
