With deep sorrow and heartfelt remembrance, we honor the life of Max Joseph Womack, of Montville, Ohio, formerly of Mentor, whose passing on April 18, 2026, has left his family, friends, and community grieving an unimaginable loss.
Max was a young man full of promise, determination, and heart. A graduate of Berkshire High School, Class of 2025, he pursued his passion for automotive work with dedication, continuing his education at Ohio Technical College as he worked toward becoming a master mechanic. Alongside his studies, he gained hands-on experience as a mechanic at Preston Chevy in Burton, Ohio, where he was respected for his work ethic and commitment.
Those who knew Max remember him not only for his ambition, but for the genuine kindness and warmth he carried into every interaction. He formed strong connections with those around him, leaving a lasting impression through his sincerity, humility, and willingness to help others. Whether in the classroom, the workplace, or among friends and family, Max brought energy and authenticity that will not be forgotten.
To his family, no words can fully express the depth of grief felt during this time. The loss of someone so young and full of potential is profoundly painful, and the absence left behind is deeply felt. May you find strength in one another and comfort in the love and support that surrounds you.
To his friends, classmates, and all who had the privilege of knowing him, Max’s memory will live on through the moments shared, the laughter remembered, and the impact he had on those fortunate enough to cross his path. His presence made a difference, and that legacy remains.
Though his time was far too short, Max Womack’s life was meaningful and deeply valued. He will be remembered with love, respect, and enduring affection by all who knew him.
