It is with deep sadness that we remember Jamie Hoover of Fredericksburg, whose passing following a tragic car accident has left her family, friends, teammates, and the entire school community heartbroken.
Jamie was a valued member of the Riverbend High School girls’ soccer program, where she was known not only for her dedication to the game but also for her character, teamwork, and positive spirit. She brought energy, kindness, and determination both on and off the field, leaving a lasting impression on everyone around her.
Her selfless nature and the way she uplifted others will always be remembered. Jamie had a unique ability to make people feel supported and valued, and her impact extended far beyond the sport she loved.
In her honor, the community will gather at 6:50 p.m. prior to the varsity girls’ soccer game to celebrate her life and the many lives she touched. It is a moment to reflect, remember, and stand together in support and remembrance.
To her family and loved ones, Jamie was deeply cherished. The loss they now carry is immeasurable, and the community stands beside them during this incredibly difficult time.
Jamie Hoover will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
