A heartbreaking single-vehicle crash Friday evening claimed the life of Christian Blake Aubuchon, a 19-year-old from Stockton, Missouri, leaving family and friends devastated by a life taken far too soon.
According to the Arkansas State Police fatal crash summary, the crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. on April 17, 2026, along State Highway 206 East in Boone County. Investigators reported that Aubuchon was driving a 2005 Chevrolet eastbound when the vehicle failed to negotiate a right-hand curve.
The report states the Chevrolet first left the roadway on the south side, then re-entered the highway before crossing the center line and leaving the roadway again on the north side. The vehicle then overturned and struck a tree, resulting in catastrophic damage.
Aubuchon, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported.
Authorities noted that weather conditions at the time of the crash were cloudy, with dry road surfaces.
The incident was investigated by Trooper Bryan J. Rose (419) with the Arkansas State Police. Aubuchon’s body was held at the Boone County Coroner’s Office, and officials confirmed that next of kin have been notified.
Christian Aubuchon was from Stockton in Cedar County, Missouri, located just across the state line from the crash site in northern Arkansas. His tragic death marks yet another traffic fatality in the region, as investigators continue working to determine all factors involved.
At this time, authorities have not released information regarding speed, impairment, or other possible contributing causes, pending the completion of the investigation and toxicology results.
