Kamonte Dwayne Frazier Washington, D.C Shooting News: Tragic Homicide in Rockville Claims Life of Washington, D.C. Native Kamonte Dwayne Frazier, 20

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police Major Crimes Division are actively investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in Rockville on Friday, March 27, 2026.

At approximately 10:20 p.m., 1st District officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service personnel responded to the 12900 block of Twinbrook Parkway following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers found 20-year-old Kamonte Dwayne Frazier of Washington, D.C., in a parking lot with apparent gunshot wounds. Emergency responders immediately began CPR, and Frazier was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner later ruled Frazier’s death a homicide. Authorities currently have no suspects in custody, and the investigation remains active. Police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
