TEEN SHOOTOUT – 16-year-old arrested after shooting into multiple apartments

The rest of the story:
On March 19, 2026, around 6:20 p.m., Tulsa Police Officers responded to several calls about shots fired between a group of teen boys at Sandy Park Apartments near 11th and 61st West Ave.
Officers arrived to find several witnesses but the teenagers had all ran off. Several shell casings from three different types of firearms were found at the scene, and shots had been fired into multiple units at the nearby apartment building.
Through the investigation, Officers learned a 17-year-old boy was the target of a group of three other teens. Several shots were fired, but nobody was hit.
Officers found one of the shooters, a 16-year-old boy, walking nearby. He still had a loaded pistol on his person.
Officers arrested the 16-year-old and took him to the Community Intervention Center for several crimes, including:
– Assault with a Deadly Weapon
– Shooting into an Occupied Dwelling (10 counts)
– Possession of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony
– Minor in Possession of a Firearm
