According to deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on March 6, 2026, at a residence on Garrison Grove Drive. Officers were dispatched to the home after receiving reports of a shooting involving multiple victims.

When deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical crews transported both victims to Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital for treatment. Despite medical efforts, one of the victims later died from his injuries at the hospital. Authorities said the deceased victim was the suspect’s uncle.

Investigators allege that the shooting occurred after a heated argument inside the home escalated. During the dispute, 19-year-old Isaiah Kendall Rapley allegedly opened fire, shooting both his father and his uncle. Rapley’s father survived but sustained serious injuries.

Deputies took Rapley into custody at the scene without further incident. He has since been charged with murder, attempted murder, and two counts of possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime.

During a bond hearing on March 7, a magistrate judge denied bond on all charges. The court also ordered Rapley to have no contact with the surviving victim or other family members connected to the case.

Rapley is currently being held at the Greenville County Detention Center while the investigation continues. Authorities say detectives are still reviewing evidence and speaking with witnesses to determine what led up to the deadly confrontation.

The case remains active, and prosecutors are expected to pursue the charges as the legal proceedings move forward.
