🚨🚨 BREAKING: Reported Shooting Under Investigation in Ball, Louisiana 🚨🚨

UPDATE RPSO: This morning at approximately 11:30 AM, RPSO was requested by the Ball Police Department to assist in their investigation of a shooting at a local gas station on US 165.
Patrol Deputies, Crime Suppression Unit and Detectives along with Crime Scene Unit have responded to assist.
As of this time, no further information will be released as this is an active crime scene.

UrbanCast began receiving reports of a possible shooting around 11:15 a.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at a gas station in Ball, Louisiana.
Several witnesses contacted UrbanCast stating that at least one person may have been shot at the CITGO station in Ball.
UrbanCast reached out to the Ball Police Department for confirmation and additional details. Officials stated it is too early in the investigation to release further information.
Units from the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office are also on the scene assisting with the investigation.
As of this post, multiple law enforcement units remain at the location and officers are actively investigating.
Ball Police Department will provide official updates as more information becomes available.
