Man Charged with Murder After Fatal Shooting at Park West Village in Morrisville

Man Charged with Murder in Morrisville Shopping Center Shooting
John Willis Fraizer III, 55, of Morrisville, is charged with murder and discharging a firearm within city limits following a shooting Monday night at Park West Village. County records show he was arrested at Ruckus Pizza around 9:33 p.m.
Fraizer is accused of fatally shooting Zachary David Horn with a .22 revolver, according to his arrest warrant.
After the shooting, the restaurant’s general manager and a bystander reportedly tackled and disarmed Fraizer when he entered the business. The victim was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
Fraizer has a prior 1995 conviction for carrying a concealed weapon in Charlotte. Authorities have not yet released additional details about the incident.
