Virginia State Police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday morning along Interstate 95 southbound.
According to the Virginia State Police, the crash happened at approximately 9:50 a.m. on February 18 near mile marker 45. Preliminary investigations indicate that a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado ran off the roadway and struck a tree.
The driver was identified as Joshua Abram Frye, 27, of Chesapeake. Authorities confirmed that he was wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation by Virginia State Police as authorities continue to determine the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
