On February 12, 2026, deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) responded to a shooting in in the 24700 block of Hufsmith Kohrville Road in Tomball, Texas. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a man unresponsive from apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
The victim was identified as 25-year-old Malcolm Wayne Lee.
While still on scene, responding deputies learned that a possible suspect had fled through a wooded area prior to their arrival. Authorities worked with partner agencies to establish a perimeter and locate the alleged shooter.
HCSO Crime Scene Investigators and Homicide Detectives responded to conduct the follow-up investigation.
Detectives later charged 23-year-old Emily Rose Seeman with Murder in connection to Lee’s death.
Investigators learned that Seeman and Lee had previously been in a dating relationship.
Authorities say Lee had arrived at the location with his new girlfriend to visit a friend, and Seeman was already there. An argument reportedly broke out between the two, which ultimately escalated into gunfire.
Seeman was booked into the Harris County Jail.
