What a bloody 24 hours we have had in Cincinnati.
It started early Saturday morning, with a double shooting on a bus, leaving a bus driver dead…
A man shot in the face on Greenwood Avenue…
A 17-year-old shot on Hawaiian Terrace…
And just over an hour ago, we had four people shot at the Spotlight Lounge, triggering
a mass casualty event.
As violent crime surges in Cincinnati, you would think that the Judges, the Prosecutor, the Mayor and the City Manager would start to squirm with the uncomfortable fact that their policies and ideologies were failing them. They aren’t squirming, they aren’t affected by this at all—because if they were, they’d start doing their jobs and honoring their oaths.
We are not even into spring yet—it’s still cold, yet the shooters never took the winter break off.
What a tragedy for our Queen City.
Please—for the love of all that is holy—let the CPD be the CPD again. There really is no other way to take back control of these streets.
Our prayers to the victims and the families of the shooting victims. Our prayers to the First Responders who are watching all of this unfold. Please Lord, save our City.
