Pam was born on April 22, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, where she spent her early years surrounded by family and friends who recognized in her a gentle heart and a resilient spirit. She graduated from Maple Heights High School and went on to build a life filled with deep connections and meaningful service to others.

Known for her compassionate nature, Pam devoted her life to caring for those around her. As a dedicated volunteer with local charities and community organizations, she helped countless families navigate challenges with dignity and hope. Her work extended from church outreach programs to neighborhood food drives, always ensuring others felt supported and seen.

Pam’s love for her family was boundless. She married her high school sweetheart, Richard “Rick” Schroeder, in 1978, and together they built a life centered on faith, laughter, and unconditional love. Pam was an unwavering source of strength for her children — Emily (Mark) Williams and Jacob (Laura) Schroeder — and delighted in every moment spent with her grandchildren, Ella, Noah, and Grace, whose laughter she treasured like sunshine.

Friends recall Pam’s warm hospitality and her remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome in her home. Whether through her famous Sunday dinners, heartfelt conversations, or thoughtful gestures, she had a gift for nurturing connection and joy. She loved gardening, where she found comfort and creativity among blooming flowers, and she was an avid reader who passed her love of storytelling to those around her.

Pam was also an active member of St. Andrew’s United Church of Christ, where she served in the women’s fellowship group and led initiatives to strengthen community bonds. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life — a testament to her belief in hope, compassion, and shared purpose.

Pamela Schroeder is survived by her husband, Rick; her children Emily and Jacob; her grandchildren Ella, Noah, and Grace; her sister Susan (David) Murray; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Margaret Mullen.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 14, 2026, from 4–7 p.m. at Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home in Cleveland Heights, followed by a funeral service on Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew’s United Church of Christ. Interment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Community Care Network or St. Andrew’s Outreach Fund, reflecting Pam’s lifelong dedication to serving others with compassion and grace.

Pam’s legacy of kindness, love, and selfless service will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered as a woman whose life reflected warmth, generosity, and boundless love.
