Dallas Woman Arrested for Murder After Allegedly Shooting Daughter During Argument Over Alcohol

WOMAN ALLEGEDLY SHOOTS DAUGHTER OVER TAKING HER ALCOHOL: The Dallas Police Department has arrested a woman accused of shooting and killing her daughter during an argument over alcohol. Police say they responded to a home after the 28-year-old victim called 911 to report the shooting. She later died from her injuries. Shanika Battle, 49, was arrested at the scene. Battle reportedly told officers that she was upset about her daughter for taking her alcohol, and they started arguing. She reportedly took a gun out of her purse to scare her daughter but denied shooting her. Battle is facing a murder charge.
