20-Year-Old Lemaur Thompson Jr. Identified in Obituary News; BOLO Issued for Braedon Dickinson

Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred Tuesday evening on Dunlap Street in Uniontown, where 20-year-old Lemaur Thompson Jr. was killed, according to the Fayette County Coroner. The incident has been ruled a homicide. Braedon Dickinson, 18, has been identified by investigators as a person of interest, and Pennsylvania State Police–Uniontown, the Uniontown Police Department, the Fayette County District Attorney’s Office, and Crime Stoppers are actively involved in the ongoing investigation.

According to state and local law enforcement, the shooting prompted a large police response to the area. Authorities say a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) has been issued for Dickinson, who has been described by the District Attorney as armed and dangerous. Police are urging the public not to approach him and to contact law enforcement immediately if he is seen.

Investigators continue to collect evidence and interview potential witnesses as they work to determine what led up to the shooting. No additional details regarding a motive have been released at this time.
