KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Kansas City man has been arrested after allegedly shooting another person multiple times during an attempted car break-in, according to court documents.
Police say the incident occurred when the suspect confronted an individual who was allegedly trying to break into his vehicle. During the confrontation, gunfire erupted, and the victim was struck multiple times. The injured person was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Their current condition has not been publicly released.
Court records indicate investigators are reviewing whether the use of force was justified under Missouri law. Detectives collected evidence at the scene, including shell casings, and interviewed witnesses as part of the investigation.
